Surgeons work in a variety of areas including hospitals, hospices, and in the field.

The different types of doctors are * General Practitioner: A doctor who treats most common illnesses and injuries. * Surgeon: A doctor who operates on patients to remove diseased and damaged body parts. * Obstetrician/Gynecologist: This specialist doctor treats women during pregnancy, childbirth, and the postnatal period. * Pediatrician: This doctor treats diseases and conditions that affect infants, children, and teenagers. * Psychiatrist: A doctor who treats people with mental health problems such as depression, phobias, and schizophrenia. * Oncologist: This specialist doctor treats cancer patients.

Nurses are healthcare professionals who provide care for patients, families, and communities. Nurses work in hospitals, doctor’s offices, and other settings. Nurses are found everywhere from operating rooms to family homes. Nurses have a lot of different skills. They are trained to help people in many different ways. Nurses have a lot of different jobs. Some nurses work with newborn babies. Others work with people in the later stages of life. Some nurses work with people who are sick. Others work with people who are hurt or have disabilities. No matter what their job, nurses are there to help other people and keep them safe.
